Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of the singer Dionne Warwick. The singer began her singing career in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood at the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with the mother of her on Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. In the year 1981, she was a model, and was featured on the Seventeen Cover. Also, she provided the backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. In 1981, she began singing in the New York funk group Material. The band's high-quality vocal performance of this group that attracted interest of recording label like Arista. The first Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It would become one of the top-selling album by a musician. Several hit singles including Saving All My Love For You How Do I know It's Good to Love You as well as The Greatest Love of All were released on the album. They set the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US number ones. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies, and later went to 25,000,000 globally. This brought her first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney that included hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the most successful artists in history. The movie and her role in it was not popular, however the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was a hit for a few months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold nearly 44 million albums and singles all over the world. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer with whom she bore the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her drug addiction began at this point and by 1996, she had become a regular user.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other notable channels. She also produces certain shows on CNN's weekends such as Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Bash has received many awards and was included at the top of the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. She is highly respected by her remarkable ability as a anchor and reporter. Personally, the graduate of George Washington University is a loving mother to her sole son. The couple was divorced twice but is currently married. Bash is a fan of her fans to the core.
