Jensen Ackles, an American actor and director with a lot of popularity, is one of the most popular actors in America. Ackles was originally planning to study sports medicine and eventually become a psychotherapist. A brief time as a model altered the direction of his professional career. He soon was cast as Eric Brady on the Emmy-winning Days of our Lives. He is famous for his captivatingly attractive look, screen presence and stunning capability to amaze his viewers by his impromptu acting. The humble beginnings of his career helped him to become a star in Hollywood as well as on television. He is best known for acting as Eric Brady Jason Teague and Dean Winchester in various popular American series. He is the proud recipient of many awards and distinctions. When he had time off, he tested his hands at directing and producing. He's directed several of episodes from Supernatural and was rewarded in the process. The actor describes himself as an unconfessional Christian.
